What is an envirotainer®?
It is a type a container that offers a reliable temperature control in order to ensure cold-chain continuity. They are classified into two categories according to the technology used:
• t2 containers, with active temperature control based on dry-ice refrigeration. They come in three sizes (RAP, RKN and JYP)
• • e2 containers, with active temperature control based con compressor cooling and electrical heating. Only available in RAP size.

Fresh fruit, frozen foodstuff, pharmaceutical products, laboratory samples… The transportation of perishable goods is particularly demanding and special regulations must be complied with. Each kind of cargo has specific cold-chain requirements, from the use of thermal blankets and dry ice or gel packs, to the use of envirotainers®, leaving no room for improvisation.
